benjamin 392 thumb hole stock

A neighbor gave  me three 5 gallon buckets full of 1"x1/2"x12" oak strips, he said I could make some nice cutting boards. Well, I thought I could take it a few steps further and glue two " cutting boards" together and make a stock for my 392. I regrettably didn't take many pictures, and i can't even post most of them because I can't crop them small enough to be under 200kb. I'll adjust my camera settings ant take some pics of the stock when I get home in a few minutes.

So for this project I used gorilla wood glue, minwax cherry 235 stain, and minwax high gloss polyurethane. For the stock I used a dremel with a flexible extension pen (a must have) a harbor freight version of a dremel multimax. And a 1 1/2 hp router. I used the airgun stock building 101 series on this board for technique and ideas. I love the way it turned out and ill definitely do it again.
