Stoeger X3 a detuned shorter X5?

Almost bought one today for the kid.Anybody have the skinny on them?

no i dont linoww but looking at the brocure i have from stoeger its a lot lighter . they weigh 4.21 pounds so it says. my x5 is like 6 pounds however they loo a lot alike . it states 550 fps but id say 450 be closer as my x5 stated 640 with lead but i get 500 fps . id say they are nice for a youth though

it has a direct trigger and the box rates it at 450 with a lead pellet.I took it out and handled it and it seemed decent.it is $99 locally.

areas and ealers have diffrent prices check p.a. when i got my x5 they and the pawn shop had the same price of 89 dollars and some other places were like 119. it dont hurt to shop around unless your getting it from a trusted dealer you have prefrence . i bought my bsa essential scopes from a local gun dealer and they were 10 dollars higher than else where but i try to support local buisnesses when i can. id like to know about how they are inside compaired to the x5 . like we said looks alike but lighter . and if its anything like my x5 its a fine 20-30 yard gun too

also i notice stoeger guns in the x5,x3 range dont have a lot of plastic either a + in my opinion
