Hyperlink Woes?

Having trouble dragging links to my posts without typing them out.

Is this normal for the forum?

There's not an issue, not from my end anyway. I go to the web site I want, up in address bar I highlight and right mouse click and copy. Then go to my post here and wherever I want the link to show up, right mouse click and paste. You can also use the Insert Hyperlink and paste the link between the brackets.

Thanks Dave, My problem was in the fact that I'm on a mac, no right and left buttons. We generally just grab whatever we want and drag it where we want it. I tried the highlight & copy routine and it worked. Thanks again!

Here's a tip from another Mac user. No need to highlight. In the address bar, click on the little icon, just in front of http. This will highlight the entire link for you. Then copy and paste

Had that but was trying to drag it, had forgotten about doing the copy/paste routine. As they say, age is the evil partner in life. I guess with age, there's more wisdom, the more wisdom, there's more clutter. Vicious circle indeed!
