HELP ME find a scope !!!!!

Looking for a MilDot, 40-44mm scope, 12-20x high power, =>13", side focus.

Looked at the Simmons 44 mag 441056, but nowhere I can find is the length stated.

I also looked at BSA Contender 416x40sp.

Seems like I should have some more choices.

Don't know what you're putting it on.  For magnum springers,  Leapers makes the UTG Accushot SWAT compact that is a 3-12x44.  I have used both the wire and glass etched reticle mildot models and like them.

I won't go there ...   

It is a balance question.   It is going on my 1720T.  I tried three handgun scopes and they are useless for my old eyes.  I put on a 3-9 CP and it is working ok, just not that clear of optics and could use a little more power.  I might go 13.5" but after that the proportions are not pleasing.

Here's a neat one I and others have as shortys.  HAMMERS.
I have one of these on my 12fpe springer and really like it.  I know the PCP won't affect it.   They are nice light and short...made for the AR platform.   Not a AO, but simple and dependable for my use.  It works from 9-50yards quite well.

I ordered a BSA of all things...

I am going to try a BSA Contender COMD416x40SP.  Got what I think is a fair price for a new one from OpticsPlanet (10% off the reg price and free shipping).  I will let you know how it works out.  The best part is that is only 12.5" long.

It has 4 " ER.  But I tried 3 different 20" ER scopes (Simmons, BSA and NCstar) and I could not hit a target much less get a grouping with my old eyeball.  With this one I use a rest and with a 5 shot group I can shot 1 ragged hole at 20 yards and a dime at 50yards which is almost a mil dot down (3/4).  The 16x is great during the day, but in low light I have to go to 10-12x.

There's a Place I use for alot of my Optic's needs, I particularly like the 4-16X44 I.R. (small cross reticle, or Mil-Dot). FITCO is the name, and they actually got a 50% sale on right now,,They(the scopes) can handle the recoil of my magnum springers, excellent glass thats camera quality.
