I got my first kill with the rifle today. A good sized squirrel in the back yard with a polymag.
I was going to go for a head shot, but I was unsure of it so I went with a heart-lung shot. The pellet impacted exactly where I aimed and made a loud thud when it hit. The squirrel dropped instantly and didn't even twitch. After seeing the accuracy, I now know I could have gotten the head shot.
While gutting him I checked out what kind of damage it did. It went through his left lung, tore the whole bottom half of his heart off, and somehow managed to split his liver into 3 pieces before exiting through the other side of his rib cage. His right lung was missing so it either liquified, or went out the exit with the pellet. The exit wound is the size of a nickle.
Once I get a few more he will be joining them in the cook pot.
