I couldn't resist the Darkside any longer. Crosman had a 25% off code on Facebook ( FB20K it ends today), I ordered a .22 Benjamin Disovery with pump for $322.74 shipped. I have read a lot of good reviews for the Disco, and just couldn't resist that price. Now the agonizing wait for the brown truck begins.

The main use will be paper punching, with a little plinking thrown in for good measure. What have owners done to help accuracy? Not looking for more fps. I probably would have gotten a .177 if they had not been sold out.

I'd say start by finding the right pellet that gives the best groups with it. You may be happy with those groups where no modding is needed. If you discover that you need a better group with those pellets then ask someone here to crown the barrel and I'm sure someone would be willing to do that, then see if it helps.

Some people take it a step further and either get a green mountain barrel for better accuracy which is under $100 if I remember right, or spend close to $200 for LW barrel for top accuracy, both of which need to be modded to fit the disco too I believe so that would be extra money getting someone to fit them on.

Good luck with your .22 cal Disco, - I'm sure you're going to enjoy it, pretty hard not to.  - I've gotten away from my Disco (since probably last summer I guess) and in the winter shoot my tuned 850 indoors (some competition shooting too) and have gone back to one of my favorite "warm weather" shooting rifles - a Savage NRA-19. - Now that's one old gun, but with a good scope it's accurate & enjoyable - the challenge is a 100 yard target. - In any case - enjoy, ...
