How much power can i get out of a 1322?

i really want a reasonably priced 22 air pistol for hunting, something i can put in a backpack while im out deer hunting to pop the occasional squirrel or rabbit i come across. I really like the idea of the 1322 with the shoulder stock but i dont think its enough power as it comes from the factory. What all can i do to this gun relatively inexpensively to get good power? I was told a flat piston is good for 100 more fps, and a disco hammer spring allows you to get 15 pumps....how much more power does 15 pumps get you? I was thinking if i could get between 700 to 800 fps it would be about right. Any ideas or input?

Get a Mac1 1322.
Mine gives out 530 FPS at 15 pumps with a 14.3 gr pellet and is very accurate.
$160.
I think you can forget about 700-800FPS from a 1322.

With the 13XX platform, it really depends on how far you want to go. Power can be increased with many modifications including barrel length, hammer spring weight, valve porting, flat-top piston/valve.
I have a 13XX in a pistol configuration that is fully tuned inside and out. Even though additional barrel length increases power, I did
not
increase the barrel length because I wanted to keep the gun as compact pistol. Although I replaced the barrel, I kept it the 10" length.
My pistol gets most of its power from its ported, flat-top valve and piston, in conjunction to a far heavier hammer spring. At 15 pumps I get a solid 10 fpe, which is respectable considering the short barrel length. Just for experimentation, I installed some longer Crosman barrels and the velocity/fpe increased significantly.
With a light pellet (prolly have to convert to .177), tuned valve, and a long barrel I think you could get to your fps goal.
Velocity aside
, I think it would be wise to focus on fpe more than speed as you want it for hunting. the use of heaver pellets may cause you to fall short from you desired velocities, but gain very significantly in the energy department, which is what knocks down game.
I would tinker around with those variables and you should be able to put together a nice little hunting carbine. Hope this helps.

I get 600 fps with 12 pumps with my modded 1322. 14.3 grain pellets. You can get a bit of power if you know what you are doing.

thanks guys. Yall are right, i guess its really fpe i should be focusing on not fps. If i could get a rig that had 10 fpe that should be good for kills on tree rats, probably 40 yards would be my longest shot in the woods i hunt

Extra barrel length is the key to power from a modded 1322.... Without it, you will be wasting a lot of the energy you put in by pumping.... I would get the longest barrel that makes sense for the portability you need....

i got 20fpe out of a phase 2 1377
it had many mods including a 14.5" .22 barrel
it took 35 pumps and a bee kodiak 21gn pellet to get the 20fpe
the readings were taken 15ft from the chrony.i want to know impact velocity and to eliminate any error caused by barrel debris

a phase 2 is the rear cocker 1377 with a brass valve
in stock form it is more powerful than the phase3/pc77 and it is very accurate
