Some New Steve Corcoran Furniture for my .22 Discovery

So about a month ago I was looking to replace the factory stock on my Disco with something a little more comfortable and substantial to shoulder. The original has always felt a little small to me, and I was seriously considering a Katana stock for it. Unfortunately, no one was selling one at that exact moment, and I decided to go take a look on the classifieds here to see if there was anything available. By a stroke of luck, Grumpy happened to be selling a Steve Corcoran Disco stock not 3 posts from the top, and I was grinning from ear to ear as I shot him an email. About a week and a half later, the stock was on my gun, and now, a month later, I can say I am absolutely satisfied with it. I like having a bipod mounted on it for benchrest, and if I'm hunting with it, I'll throw on a sling and I'm on my merry way. Just want to thanks to Grumpy again for the sale, and to Steve Corcoran for his amazingly beautiful and functional piece of art.

Neat to see a lefty stock for a change. Does the raised cheek piece make it easier on you than with the original stock when lining your head up with your scope that looks to be 40mm size on high rings? Wondering if it's noticeably better or about the same.

Sqrl Klr- it's an ambidextrous stock, and I think that the cheek piece paired with the 44mm objective works well. I've got the scope on medium rings to get it as low as possible, and I'm getting a very comfortable cheek weld with the stock- more so than with the factory.
