201 is leaking

  I got to shoot the gun one day at the range and now it has a leak. The leak seems to come from the gauge at the end of the lower air cylinder. Can I rebuild the gauge or where can I buy a new one?

there's a couple O-rings on each side of the gauge under the Front barrel band, pretty easy fix

I unscrewed the cap and it seems to come from the center of the gauge. There is a slot with what looks like a rod that comes through the center of the slot. With a little pressure in the gun I tried to turn it. As it turns the leak will get worse and then less. The air leaks right out the end of the tube.

Will,have the same problem with my 707 II. Decided just to send it to Will Piatt and "get ur done".

There is also a o ring in the inside of the gauge that is not as easy to fix . Hard to get the gauge apart .Marvin

There are 2 more o-rings on the ends of the valves  and gauge that go inside the tubes . Any of these plus the one inside the gauge that is really not made to replace other than replacing the gauge but can be done with great care can cause a leak in the area of the muzzle . Do your self a big favor and measuse the distance the valve and gauge are at and count the turns needed to remove them so you can get it back together with out a leak the first time . GL Marvin

  May go ahead and buy a new gauge. Cant really hurt to replace it.

just send the gun to Will Piatt, all the leaks and such will be fixed, and you wont belive how much more efficient those guns are after a Tune

     Got the leak fixed and it shoots great. Going to shoot hogs the next few weeks. Looking forward to see how it does.
