Are there any substitute o-rings for Hill pump?

I just paid over $40 for a seal kit for Hill pump mk2. To me that is a lot of money for some o rings. I know they are specially made to withstand all that pressure but surely there has got to be an acceptable substitute sold by somebody somewhere? The one that wears the most is the small green o ring and i have yet to find out what it is made of and who would make a similar product?! Has anyone found easily available substitutes that will work the same as the ones in the seal kit?

Ones time researching, finding the material used, CORRECT sizes, source where to buy in bulk, take the time to make up individual pump kits etc ... makes what a kits worth to an outside the OEM channels supplier of what you ask.
Hopefully you get the idea ...
* Buy the Kit ... RESEARCH the most common failed 0-rings and order them from McMaster Carr or some other parts house.

there is a seller on ebay that will make you up a kit if you send in the old o-rings so they can get the right sizes .you could contact them and ask if they can source better o-rings to make the kit
just search o-rings on ebay you will see paint ball kits.one seller of these kits has in his description to send or tell them the o-ring sizes needed

I guess you both are right i just thought someone who has done it might chime in. There is a seal company in my city hopefully they might be willing to help, at least with sizing, if i bring them some seals! I intend to have the pump and the p rod for a long time, spending $40 for a seal kit is something I foresee getting old fast...
