Keeping screws and adjustments tight

I use blue Loctite for things I want to take apart, red for permanent, and the thick green stuff for the forever things.
 
But I think I finally found something for screws that you have to tweak every now and then, like hammer stroke adjusters and spring adjusters. The ones you want to give a half turn to and have them still stay put. 

Here is a pic of it on three 8-32 threads and one 10-32. It's a kind of fluorescent orange and it smells a lot like PVC cement. I have been using it for over a month and it seems to work pretty good.    You brush it on with the brush that is attached to the cap.  It dries in a few minutes but you are supposed to let it dry for about 30 minutes before actually installing it.  It tightens up even really loose threads and they can still be adjusted.  I bought mine from McMaster, but it looks like there are lots of places to buy it.

The real test will be if it holds up to the pounding of a hammer stroke length adjustment screw. Haven't tried that for long enough yet.

Would elmers glue do the trick? I'd guess that would work without making it hard to adjust since it's not that strong.

Thank you for that info Lloyd. Two of my trigger adjustment screws are loose so this will help if I can't use the elmers.

Nice info. I've used a minute amount of purple threadlocker on my lasers' zeroing screws because they would turn too easily for my liking, causing the zero to go astray sometimes. The purple works great. Can't remember the brand I used, but it's not Loctite brand. Whatever my small-town hardware store had.

Well Brother, I know you've been down this road before, so I'll standby and wanna hear how it shakes out.   What's it like after it's set up?  Gumlike or hard?  Just curious.
