OK it goit the best of me. Decided to try and measure the force required to pump the Rebel. I put a digital bathroom scale on the table and placed the Rebel with pump arm open and slowly pushed down to get the force required to close the pump handle. For better results I did this 5 times and averaged the results.
pump # weight in lbs
1 28
2 36
3 40
4 42
5 44
6 48
7 48
8 49
9 51
I did 9 pumps just to see if pressure changed. The instructions say that after 8 pumps there is no real gain in speed.
I realize that there are some questions about the way this is done but I tried to keep things consistant with the way i hold when pumping the rifle. In the interest of fairness I will say it takes up to 45 Lbs of energy per stroke to pump this rifle to full power. That is a lot of pumping energy but you have to realize that this rifle is putting out a lot of speed and energy also. If this rifle has the potential to be modded there could be some awsome power on tap as long as you can pump it up. It would be interesting to know how much pressure is behind the valve.
It appears that Webley has a .22 Cal version on their site now.

I just saw this gun on the AOA site, Very interesting! I am holding out for the .22 cal version, but we will see how long that will last. Thanks for posting these specs.
