need help with reseal for older blue streak pleeeze

  hi there  my blue streak isnt fixed like i thought.   i just did the reseal on it and it still leaks out of the barrel  any ideas?  it is a mid 50s model,

What parts did you replace in the compression chamber and o rings  or gaskets in front of the screw in locking ring with the square hole in the center ?  It must be the hold down safty model.

Did you oil the seals and make sure the nut is tight ( sometimes you have to tap on them to seat the lead seal)..PeashooterJoe..

yes if you have a lead seal it needs to be very tight to seal properly or it can and will leak out air.Ive ran into this a few times ans thats almost always the problem.Assumeing the seal was in correctly and didnt get offset a bit and possibly cut or damaged when installed.if so just get another lead seal and replace.should cure youre problem if thats the case.
