Benjamin Model 317

hey guys,

when we moved into our house we found an old Benjamin model 317. basically its just been hanging on the wall as a decoration for the past four years. 
its in pretty rough shape. the pumping handle is missing... looks like the innards of the pump are missing... the upper half of the gun is all there from what i can tell.

Soooooo.... My question is....

Would it be worth fixing up? If so, where do i need to look for parts? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ill be taking the gun apart and posting pics soon so hopefully i can get a diagnosis.

Well i took apart my old Benji today. 
The serial number is H 44318
It cocks and fires well. The safety works. When it fires it sounds good. Sounds like the hammer doesn't just hit a stuck open valve.

I couldn't figure out how to get the valve out and I didn't want to break anything in the process.
It appears that the piston and the pumping mech are missing.

i tried to post some pics but the files are too large.

Whaddya think? Fixer-Upper or Wall hanger? If a Fixer-Upper, where should i look for parts.

I would also try Rick Willnecker @ precision Pellet.
He helped me with my Benji rebuilds and actually has some of the harder to find parts for these remaufactured.

Yep, me too couldn't get in "private account"
When you are in your album just hover your mouse above the pic and then pick direct link from the menu that pops up, then paste that in the forum message box

i changed the privacy settings to public so that should fix the problem. i dont know if the old link is still good but heres the link to the album.
