Was wondering about .22 accuracy in thes rifle. Thinking about getting an underlever and might consider it IF good results abound.

They have been scarce around these parts. They got a lot of attention at first, but haven't seen them listed for sale, with a firm price, other than the $350 MSRP.
I am curious as well, because I never got the chance to own a B40.

I think PaperPunch1 is referring to the Benjamin Mav77 which is spring powered. When it was listed I only saw it in .177. I am also curious on why it is not on the market yet.

I think this is another one that we will wait eons for it to come on the market, like the XS60 from Xisico. Plus the 77 in MAV77 sort of excludes the possibility of a .22 cal anyhow. Pity, there is a paucity of under levers in the mid cost range. There are a few from Hatsan, but not much else that I am aware of. The lowly B4 on one end, quite a selection of under levers on the high end: TX200 and Pro Sport and HW 77/97... not much in the middle,

Glad I could help Kailua; if only my memory was as highfalutin as my vocabulary. There is of course no dearth of Chinese under levers. There are TF-97 and TF-99, XS 38, XS46U, B3....etc and probably more that I forgot.

Look close at that MAV77 and you will see chinese roots.....decending from the B-40 which was a great rifle...........which was a clone of the TX200.
B-40 was a decent rifle, dressed up in TX stock you couldnt tell the difference till you got close enough to see the writing....they shot great groups. Heavy as all........
Mike Melick could tune them up really nicely.
So if thier price point is such that you could buy one new, tune it and still come out over 100 bucks cheaper than a TX, then they may be on to something.
But if a new one with a tune doesnt leave room to put a sweet scope on with an extra 100 or so.....then just go buy a TX. Have the real thing instead of a china cloned, rebranded Crosman.
God bless,
Farmer

good point Farmer. There are so many guns out there; Sold with a black tube (aka Scope). The scope is junk and you end up over budget any way by the time you get a good one.
