Welcome to GTA Hemn!! How far from Mosul are you from? I was that way from 2003-2004. Not for pleasure unfortunately! There is some beautiful villages up that way! Loved the small villages where we would sit and talk and drink Chai for hours and even days some times!

Yep, wildlife and wilderness conservation are very important.

Welcome to GTA, and I have a question: are there any animals that are so abundant as to be classified as pests / no license required to hunt? If so, that's the animal that I would turn my attention to, ha ha.

Thank you for your attention first, no we don't have any official offices to provide licenses to hunters & we don't have abundant animals here, hunters in Iraq are hunting without noticing of quantities, that is why hunt is prohibited by our government now, ((I am glad to that decision)) however I am a hunter & I like hunt too much.

Glad to hear from you, a one that had visited my country, actually Mousl is not very far from my city it is just about 2 or 3 hours, I am living in Sulaymaniyah & Erbil, my home in Suli but my work in Erbil, you know Chai is one of our most popular and traditional, it is one of the our best hospitality for our guests, some place is bring you a coffee specially in south of Iraq, please tell me more about you during your visiting in Iraq, have you ever been in Suli or Erbil? again very nice to hear from you dear..... please feel free to ask about my country .....
