Hatsan 125 sniper npss vs walther talon magnum np

Hey wassup fellas... Gonna be gettin me another .22 break barrell and I've narrowed it down to these 2...Both have the nitro pistons....I'm leaning towards the hatsan but i've been reading that these 2 are practically the same gun..Is this true?.....Which one should i choose and why?...Is one more powerful/accurate than the other....Thanks for your help!..

they are basically the same power plant and trigger,i would go with the hatsan 125 in 25 cal or 22cal.they are newer to the market and less chance of getting a older talon,i have the talon and the wfh both in 22cal,will be putting a 25 barrel back on the wfh soon as i find one,my talon is converted over to a np.was set at 180 bar but had to take some of the pressure out was bending the cocking arm,was a real power house though before i released some pressure,either gun will is a great choice.

I have decided to take your advice and go with the Hatsan...Now I am having a hard time choosing between a .22 and a .25.....LOL!.......I'm thinkin of staying with the .22 since i already have two .22 springers already....Is there much difference between the .22 and .25 fpe wise?......Will the .25 shoot as far as the .22 with the same accuracy?..Thanks again!...~Mike

2 very different cal.and the arch of the pellet,distance wise 22cal. but you got 2 of these already,you should see the hole a 25cal makes with a predator pellet,and the thwack,IMO i would get the 25cal.and use it for 40yards or less hunting,and for further out maybe go with the 22cal.i got 3 22cal.s 1 talon. 1 wfh, and 1 hammereli 850,and 3 barrels for my ruger air magnum,177,22,25cal,i leave the 25cal on it,and its smoother,and make,s big hole,s in nutters. but its a personal choice really"

Thank you very much bro! I am going with the .25 like you suggested...I just checked PA and they are out of stock now... ......Bummer!
I'm wondering how much fpe i would lose if i went with the npss version or should i just get the regular springer version?...What are your thoughts on the Nitro Piston that PA installs with this gun?....Thanks again bro!....~Mike

imo; i am not impressed with those np they install,if your able to work on air guns and are some what tool smart and safe; then there are many post on installing (imo ) much better np,there have been some very successful conversions done,the right way,i will tell you from my own experience don't go chasing the power curve,put a red label 125x19 np in it,if you get the spring version,nothing wrong at all with a spring version,and there more fps too i believe.there are 125 sniper 25cal,s hitting 800fps with the spring version ,that will be high enough fpe for most small game,,mostly its shot placement that gets the job done; check out some post from( shadow) he's a master tuner,and does some real good camo job,s,you'll see in about all his hunting outings, he mostly uses 177cal, but his shot placement is perfect,also if you want to put some sweet glass on it ,check out ( Richard) at air-scopes in our mall,i wood get some of those 25cal predators from that guy from craigslist,there is a post from{ mustangmike}that has all the info on how to contact the guy whom sells them.also i like to shoot 31gr, beemans,what ever you choose,np/ spring the 125 hatsan 25cal is a great gun,

nice set up.not a bad price at all and with a 1 piece mount,now that being said,have you contacted mike melick and checked out a ar 2000 / jett? to see if he's got it in 25cal,it is a more powerful air gun,and if he was to tune it you would have a real sweet rifle there too,and there convertible too,i would also say the b-28 too.but there not np convertible.that hatsan is real nice too with the hawkie scope,let us know what you get,oh and don't for get to get a lot of pellets as well.lol

               nice gun but it is 22cal,i think he wants a 25cal,that is a heavy gun at 10 lb's for sure but its all wood and its a beeman and at that price would be a nice buy were anyone in the market for a 22cal.and did not mind the weight.

I THINK ONCE YOU GET THE .25 YOU WILL NOT LOOK BACK. I own 3 guns in .25. The sniper spring feed and a 125 TH WITH THE NP in it. Both shoot great and yes the NP has less FPS THAN THE SNIPER. THE OTHER IS THE RWS 350 PRO COMPAC with the Xisico B28  .25 BARREL CHOPPED of COURSE. IT HAS THE G2 SPRING IN IT AND WILL SHOOT FPS IN BETWEEN THE SNIPER AND THE 125 TH. And yes you will be impressed on the smack and hole that the .25 will produce. I have had good luck in all 3 guns with the preditors and the HN FTT 20.00 GR. You here of people that can't make the CPHP perform and I look at the FTT as the same. I can shoot the CPHP .22 shoot in any of my .22 and the same goes with the FTTS. YOU JUST HAVE TO PLAY AND LEARN HOW THEY SHOOT. You are going to really like the .25 and yes it is a short distance gun but in that short distance it is BAD TO THE BONE!!
