Diana 56TH back in production?

I just saw the Diana 56 Target Hunter appear on the scene again so I googled to see what’s up and I came upon this fresh review article from this July on a UK site. Could it be that Diana has decided to produce these rifles again?

Its not listed on Diana's website but in another aberration, I saw Airguns of Arizona has Diana 470s.. which are also out of production I thought?

Wow, as Denby95 pointed out they are showing the 470TH for sale too! Hope it’s not a late April fools joke…

I have a 56th and 470th both in .177. I bought them way back when the 56th still cost $900. I got mine with a discount for $830. I don't remember what the 470th cost but it was high. They are nice but heavy and I shoot left hand. I just shoot off a bench. Switching hands to cock and load then switching hands again to shoot after 50 shots will wear you out. As the article says it has a big barrel weight but the barrel is also shrouded. The U.S. versions shoot a lot faster than the one in the article. The guy in the article does a lot of review videos.

The 56th and 470th are dolled up versions of the Diana 54 and 460. Like he said the 56th has about zero felt recoil. Goddess, I don't know but they are nice guns.

Adding to my earlier post, the 56 is also for sale at AoA so not sure where these units would be coming from? New old stock?
