My simple homemade crude bipod

So what i made for my cheap pumper is my first time making something at home without major tools, because ever since I've been able to, which is a while, i have been taking wood shop class for school. Im used to the big machings such as a bandsaw, radial arm saw, drill press, ect. I wanted to make a bipod but cant put it on my springer so i opted for my 35. All I had to do it with was a 16 inch long peice of wood,a tape measure a can of silver spray paint, a hack saw and a single peice of sandpaper. First I measured the wood and marked the middle with my pocket knife, and then cut it. It took a while but I did it, after that I marked diagnolly 1 end of each peice, so that on each thick they came down into a point, which was difficult cutting too, then I sanded each peice the best I could. After that i spray painted them silver. After they dried I put the point ends together so it came down to a V shape the barrel could rest on. As I has no other way to attach it to the barrel I used the next best thing, duct tape
. After lots of it it stayed on firm and actually worked well, despite looking horrible. Well thats all.

ya it does not easy on the eye's but ive done a few home made things for my airguns that egh wasnt exactly easy on the eyes either. but now you have an idea and will start improving on it and when you get to that point spend sometime looking at what you have and then base the design off that. usually turns out a little better.

You can also make a set of shooting sticks pretty easily with minimal materials if you want. The only disadvantage to shooting sticks is that that they are not attached to the gun and must be carried separately. Here's a set I made a while ago, may give you some ideas.
