USN 1969 - 73, submarines.  My "big gun" was a compressed air launched Polaris A3 ballistic missile.  People used to ask "Did you do any shooting during the Vietnam War?" and I usually replied, "If I had, you'd have heard about it.  There'd have been some big holes in North Vietnam with funny things growing in the bottom of them."

See, no matter how bad you think you are, someone else always has a bigger gun.

Yeah, and they replaced US with the Trident class, LOL.  Although, as I like to tell people, there ain't no such thing as a small nuke.
