R1 Compression Tube...
«

Unfortunately, I scratched my R1 compression tube during a recent tune. Looking at replacing it, or getting it re-hotblued... Anyone have a tube or know of any R1 parts suppliers?
Thanks,

Pyramid Air is the official Weihrauch importer now. Weihrauch (aka HW) makes(d) the Beeman lines. Did you scratch the inside or the outside of the tube? If in the inside and it is severe enough, you can have the reciever sunnen honed by Paul Watt or Tom Gore at Vortek. If on the outside, have it reblued. David Slade does reblueing work. One thing about replaceing the receiver from PA,....it can be done, but you may not get a "Beeman" marked tube. If yours is an earlier San Raphael or Santa Rosa model, I would seriously look for repair work before I'd even think of replacing it for collectors sakes.

very true Tom! but if you want to replace the tube TW Chambers has parts and I think Specialty Shooting Sports might be able to help you out as well, I don't think the tubes are marked the only stamping on most of these gun's is on the screw off end cap and the barrel block which shouldn't effect replacing the tube, how ever their is some dimensional differences between the older tubes and the newer tubes internally to be where of

Guys,
Thanks for all the help... It appears that it may be less expensive than I anticipated to replace the tube. I did contact David Slade and John in PA, and both offered thier assistance with re-bluing and doing some tuning for me as well. I'll let ya'll know what I end up doing. Many thanks!
Cheers!
