I am new to the forum and wanted to give a shout. A couple of weeks ago I got out my trusty Crosman 760 and 766 and did a little plinking....I had forgotten how much fun it was...since the 760 is showing it's age (Christmas 1971) I ordered up a Gamo CFX. I fired 45 rounds through the CFX this afternoon.....what fun!
I am looking forward to competing in the monthly matches.

Welcome to GTA and congratulations on the new CFX. Lots of friendly folks here, if you enjoy air guns then you've found the right place to hang out
"Big Bill" takes care of the shooting competition, I'm sure Bill will chime in real soon and welcome you.

BTW. I have 2 CFX's and they are fantastic shooters.

Thanks for the kind words. I got the fixed sites on the CFX dialed in. I will fix the scope and dial it in in the near future. I am pleased with the results so far. Never had a springer so it is a little different to shoot.
I'll get there...I hope.

The Gamo CFX's are one of the more forgiving Gamo's and a accurate shooter I have one in .22. Ed

Hey, the 760 is a fun shooter. I have one circa 1967 that I resealed recently. Still a fun gun. Be sure to post often and post pictures to help feed out addiction.

ezman604....the 760 is a great shooter! When I shot it last weekend I noticed resin flakes from the forarm and decided then to limit its usage. I had the 760 and the 766 rebuilt about 15 years ago. Both still shoot great.
What fun this is........
