It is really hard to be the price, quality and performance of the Hatsan Mod95. As far as I am concerned, there is nothing in the same price range than can compete with the Mod95.

Sorry, but I misseed this post.....
I think the problem you have experienced is more fundemental than the learned answers given.
I think your problem has nothing to do with the gun I think the issue is the trigger. A quattro trigger comes adjusted "somewhere in the ballpark" but not for all. I have found that when properly adjusted (I like a lightweight "hair" trigger) I found that on some Quattro's the triggers transition from the first to second stage is set way too heavy and thus the pull affects accuracy, as you pull on the heavy trigger, your grip tightens on the stock, and as the sear releases the gun is pulled in your grip, hence inaccuracy. I adjust my triggers (this is a new thing to me) so the first stage is very small and the release is instant, coupled with a light trigger feel, I get a light, crisp and consistant release and tight groups at 45yrds with my (.177)Hatsan Dominator.
Edited here, this works on all my Hatsans with Quattro triggers
