Upgraded to a 40 position quick change toolpost

I've been using my Aloris BXA toolpost for as long as I've had a lathe it would fit on, but I had been looking at the 40 position toolposts for a couple years now.

I finally pulled the trigger and decided to order a size E Multifix toolpost. I dealt with a Chinese manufacturer directly, and ended up getting a very fair deal. Shipping took 4 days for the toolpost and 10 various holders.

So far, this thing has been nothing but a pleasure to use. The 10 holders may be overkill since one tool can hit so many angles.

Anyone else using one? I'm looking for any tips you may have.

looks incredible , where did you buy it?? I'm happy with my bostar axa set ,but  when I get a more rigid  lathe , this may be in my future

Nice.  I wish I had a lathe that needed something like that.  My Logan 820 does fine with a Chinese AXA.

I ordered this one directly from Dezhou Zhongyi Industry. I dealt Directly with Mr. Zhao and couldn't be happier with the process.

My only complaint is that the set screws are M7-1mm, which is not very common. I didn't pay attention to the size range of the actual tool holders, and a lot of my 1/2" boring bars wouldn't clamp. I got lucky and found one box of metric screws at the hardware store that fixes me up.

Everything feels sturdy enough that I'm going to go ahead and eBay my Aloris.
