I think the trigger of the 909 is similar to the one in the fire 201/202s.... correct me if i am wrong...
Mine was a fingerbraker....i just changed the spring in the trigger by half a pen spring and it is super lite and predictable.  Just cost me a pen.

and polished a few area's (red) with 800 sandpaper.


I thought of making the trigger adjustable as you can see (black T), but the lighter spring and polishing had so much positive effect that that wasn't necessarry

Other types of tunes / adjustments....
Depend on what Big Bore you have and with what type of stock but an adjustable buttplate and cheekpiece can come in handy....
Like mr Lasso has on the fire 201; reason is that the fire stock is really made for open site shooting; Once a scope mounted your cheek is to low to let the eye meet the scope correctly.

The adjustable buttplate is a Bisley. I used the same.
and instead of cutting out a cheeckpiece i made an add-on cheekpiece.

And offcourse the cockinghandle....in all variations
I don't know if there is an example of a better cockinghandle for a 909......

All adds to the comfort and enjoyment of the big bore and is a matter of choice.....

With my 909 trigger,  the pull needed is not so much an issue of tension, but it catches. I put a new trigger in my NPXL, is the 909 any more complex to work on?

Interesting...... the Firehandle is straight on....and i understand from what i heart the 909 handle is something different ; so a picture would be nice.

The pen spring works so that is ok for me.
The handle i made from a lobster forceps with a grinder and it works great to.
I don't pretend to be somebody i am not; i am not an industrial mechanic, just handy.
More the boyscout. Creative. As long as it is not dangerous but just a choice.
From a status point of view this can give mental heathproblems but i am fine with that.
I works and in the "new world"  this could be tagget as durable. ha ha.....

Have you seen the newest Beaumont bigbore somewhere about $4200.
That is the newest hipe in the dutch Airgunworld; having the most expensive...... shooting 300m?   I don't care.  That is the ranking game. I like to shoot and have fun with that.
So.
I am the "cheap"shooter and add something from myself everytime, that is the way i enjoy my hobby and nothing more.
The 9mm pellets i make come from lead from the backstop.....

I like to share and hope to meet others that like to share  what they do and maybe i learn from that.
Shoot at targets and talk to people is my objective.
And those who want to make a business should place an advertisement.

This is how you get the Fire apart to get to the trigger and 909 looks pretty much the same.
 How to get to the trigger  (yellow circles);  remove the front wood (one screw)  remove the triggerunit (one screw)
In the triggerunit are 2 screws that hold the sear and one spring
The Fire transfer port was enlarged to 6mm everywhere.

Getting to the transferport; first remove the pressure (shooting it empty?)
then remove the cockinghandle (i used a clawhammer with which you get nails out with some material to protect the surface of the Fire)
Remove the  2 screws on top.
Remove the hood?....
