I am not impressed with the one I have.Others seem to like them. The quality of construction is substandard at least on my example.

Flying Dragon Air Rifle has a XS46U which is a newer upgrade from the TF99 to my understanding. With a lube tune $129.95 shipped. With gas ram installed $186.95 shipped.

Mike has a selection of good airguns at his sight and something to think about when your looking for a good clone of a name brand shooter. I own three clone shooters and all perform super. I have two B26's in .177 and a B25.22 Bamboo stock. I've tuned all three but they were solid shooters out of the box which is a good start for tuning. The B26 is a copy of the R9 and the B25 is a copy of the RWS 34. Ed

I had the QB-36-2, which is the same rifle, in .177. It was powerful (900 fps), and accurate with a little work. It is heavy, fine for bench but a bit much for field. There are no replacement triggers but you can smooth the factory one out fairly well. I did a crown polish that seemed to help a lot.
I sold that one because I just didn't care for underlevers. At a good price they are decent rifles. Mine was about $90 at a gun show.

i own a t99 in .22 and it is a goodAG, but make sure that you get another spring for it because mine broke well under 1000 shots or make sure you send in your warranty card as soon as you get the AG. NOT Trying to sell the xs46 but I believe that you will come out bettter with it

I bought one just before Christmas and sighted in the Leapers 4-16x50. Well Christmas morning i looked off the back deck and seen a squirrel at least 50 yds away. Then my bro comes up who hasn't shot a gun in 20 yrs at least says let me give it a try. Took him awhile to steady bc its a heavy gun as u probably know already LOL!! So I lent a shoulder and about 5 seconds later i seen a squirrel fall about 70ft out of the oak tree to my disbelief. Asked where he was shooting, and he said the heart. When i cleaned the squirrel i was expecting to find the pellet lodged on the other side of the body but it was a clean pass through with a .22 CPHP and i be darned if he ain't burst the heart. For a 100$ airgun WOW!! I want another to tune!!!

LOL, I've had two TF 99s. One was a great shooter I traded to Howie.
The other one is STILL at Shadows! It is horrible beyond belief. The TF 87 is far better than the TF 99. Both though are REALLY heavy airguns.
It depends on what you want it for. The TF 99 .22 I had was great and easy to shoot. Still I'm not a big fan of them anymore. The TF 89 is the best buy in their arsenal I feel. It shoots great and has fantastic balance.

I own a bunch of TF guns... frankly I would go for the TF 87 as an underlever over the 99. I love the TF 89 as a break-barrel.
