Notos and a stuck wretched Umarex magazine; seeking help

BACKGROUND:
"Will it still f**k up?" Despite having several Maple Custom hi-cap mags, this morning I went to my gun club early to focus on my Notos which I recently customized with the Huben Dream valve and a big bottle and other accouterments like the Buck Rail stock. I thought I would try one of the original Umarex mags and see if it was still a problem. I set up all my targets including a plywood "table" atop top plastic sawhorses (for the soda cans), and lots of clays attached by rings to the mesh screen 30 yards downrange. Also some in-ground flippers and a four-piece orange "pah-TING".

Loaded the Umarex mag with JTS 14.87 wadcutters. Went to cock the rifle and shoot...well, hoped to shoot. The first pellet (yes, properly inserted into the mag) stuck and refused to budge despite using a cleaning rod to try to get it back into the mag and the cocking handle refused to budge forward. What a mess. (I usually take two or more guns with me to a shooting session but today I only took my Notos as it has been so reliable. My bad. Tomorrow two break barrels and the Diana Bandit for some cocking relief.)

QUESTIONS:
Can anyone please point me in the direction of a parts diagram or even better, anyone's description of tearing down the thing to try to get at the chamber and dislodge the stuck pellet? Yes, I will search YouTube assiduously in the meantime. I suspect contacting Umarex will be an exercise in futility, right? (Do they even repair stuff?)

Finally, if you know of any fellow air gunner out there who takes in repairs I would be happy to give him or her my business. I don't live too far from Nibs of Walnut & Steel so I will reach out to him as well, although I know he gets way too many contacts to answer them all, alas.

Unclear to me, is the magazine stuck as well?  If so, you might want to bust up the magazine in place and remove pieces until it's all gone.  You probably don't want to save that magazine anyway, no?

The mag is totally stuck and busting it out is a good idea. Thanks. I’ll try that.

A guy who had the same problem broke off the tip of the bolt, suggested that he should have drilled a bunch of holes in the magazine before busting it up.  Keep us posted on how it turns out, as it's not common but other people may have the same problem.

I had to bust a mag out of my Avenger once. No permanent damage to the gun... the mag didn't survive.

My bolt fully retracts, so hopefully if I drill it out I won’t touch the bolt tip!

Umarex = ABSOLUTE GARBAGE.

I learned my lesson once and have never bought another Umarex product ever again.

In regards to mags, I always use Fluid Film on both mating surfaces and work new mags in & out of the mag well at least 20 times.
All new mating surfaces need lube and a break in period.

I've had more bad luck than good when using wadcutters in magazines. Most recently a Magfire Ultra breakbarrel magazine. Worked fine UNTIL I tried wadcutters, then I had to disassemble the action a couple times to find ALL the lead fragments that were hiding and causing jams/misfeeds.

Now I simply won't use wadcutters in any of my magazines. Not worth the hassle of tearing a rifle apart to clear jammed pellets and/or pellet fragments.

Once you get that rifle working again I suggest you save the wadcutters for single shot loading. Yeah, I KNOW, disappointing. I really LIKE shooting wadcutters for several reasons. Just not enough to spend 80% of my shooting time clearing misfed pellet chunks :-(

This is a good if disappointing approach. I’ve noticed, however, that the JTS 14.87 wadcutters work fine in the Maple Custom mags. Thanks.
