Umarex Octane Match-Grade-Trigger upgrade

Got the mighty Umarex out for a play  couple of shots with open sight  OK but nothing spectacular. I put the Umarex scope back on and had a couple of shots. Awful  The extra 1. 5 lbs makes the heavy rifle heavier. It akso makes it awkward to handle. Did-nt even sight it in before I took it off.
I looked at the foresight and thought I could do better . I tòok what was left of the original brake off  . Had to cut it in strips and break it off in strips. The factory put that on so it would not move_ ever . I made a new brake out of delrin. Then I fashioned a new ramp foresite modelled on the HW77. That is glued and screwed on the top of brake.
 ;l don't have a mill so I carved it out of black ptfe with a coping saw and a very sharp chisel . Finished it with 400 grit paper to take the shine off. It must be very cleanly finished because any irregularities really stand out when aiming. Worked out well even with the high comb on the stock .
More acurate ___ I think so/ maybe just wishful thinking. Definitely better looking.

I have an Octane w an upgraded trigger and a .25 barrel. The piston went bad and I’m sick of dealing with gas rams leaking. If anyone wants to send me a shipping box, I’d gladly give it away to someone that would use it. It has no open sights so it would need to be scoped. Message me if interested.
