Looking forward to the weekend and Airgun Expo 2025! [2025-04-25]

Good morning Airgunners!

I hope everyone has had a great week and is setting up for a great weekend.  I didn't get down to the range yesterday, but that's ok. If all goes well, Sue and I will pull out the live-stream gear and do some testing at the range.   I've got some new cameras and lenses that should let us get on target without having to run down range.  I have high hopes for success here!  I'll post something here about our testing once we go live.  If you all would like to join us and help us work out the kinks, that would be great!  I suspect we'll stream through Vimeo or maybe AirgunArmy.com.  Either way, we'll post a notice.

If the weather permits, I'll get back to the Pinty Bullpup to start.  I also have the BARRA 400e charging up, and I'm looking forward to playing with that platform again.  Speaking of the 400e, what are your thoughts on AEG BB rifles?  They don't need CO2 or HPA and generate about the same velocity without the environmental constraints.  I'm not a fan of the shooting cycle delay, but I can get over that, given the long-term affordability.  Again, what do you all think?

Now, let's chat about Airgun Expo 2025.  Please take a look at the site here: https://www.theairgunexpo.com for more information.  We will start posting data about this year's supporters and gear soon.  Airgun Expo is open to the public, and folks are welcome to come out and show with us.  I'll have a log of my collection available for folks to go hands-on with at the range.  We'll start posting a list of all the gear soon. 

That's it for today's post, folks.  Sue and I are taking a half-day and heading to town for some sightseeing, dinner, and a movie.   We'll be at the range early tomorrow and hope to start live streaming around 9:00 or 9:30 Mountain time.  Hopefully, we will see some of you there!

I'm staying away from anything automatic for one reason. CO anti-gun legislation has been on a roll already, limiting even semiautomatic guns to greater degrees. The last thing I need is for rumors to spread about "she was firing an automatic weapon!" even if it was "just a BB gun" at an inanimate object on my property.

Worse still if it is black and "tactical" looking.
