What adapter to fill Marauder from Scuba tank?

My older Marauder is loaned to a friend who dives. Has the tanks.
What adapter/system/assembly do we need to get for him to use the tanks to fill the rifle?

I have been taking my compressor to use and in talking find out he has tanks - gets them filled at the fire department.

Figure doing this will save me more driving & let him top up as needed using what he already has.

So - what is needed?

Scuba tanks come generally with 2 types of valves:
Yoke (also known as an A-clamp, international connector or CGA 850 yoke),
DIN
Some Yoke valves are actually dual standard Yoke/DIN as there is an insert in the valve you can remove and turn it into DIN

The one Joe is suggesting is for Yoke

You will find cheaper ones from ali ... I just liked the first one I found.

If you have the Yoke with inbuilt DIN adapter, go for the DIN option it is much less fiddly.

I use a DIN valve on my SCABA tank.



I also fill from HP steel (3475 psi) DIN SCUBA tanks and use a DIN to K valve adapter for my DIN terminated fill whip. Many modern SCUBSA valves have an insert, with the insert removed they fit DIN and with the insert installed thye fit a yoke. There are alos yoke adapters for attaching a DIN to a yoke type tank (K valve).

LP steel tanks are around 2250 to 2640 psi. Aluminum tanks are 3,000 psi and HP steel tanks are 3,450 psi. A HP 100 cf or HP 120 cf tanks will give a M-Rod a good number of fills, an aluminum 80 cf tanks will give you less than one .
