Servicing an Air Force Edge

One of our 4-H club shooters has an Air Force Edge purchased second-hand. She likes it, it's a good shooter, but she & her father observe that it leaks down to empty overnight. Other than the manufacturer, are there any service centers in the US that are recommended for an overhaul, or is the Edge user-serviceable?

Airforce air guns are about the simplest air guns you can get. Only 4 o rings in the entire gun.

If it has a gauge, check it and the foster fitting first with some soapy water.
If nothing there, the get an O ring kit.

My Edge air cylinder has a leak where you can feel the air leaking around the tophat area.  Any instructions, videos out there with regard to step-by-step replacing the seals/o-rings in the air cylinder, along with proper adjustment of the tophat as a bonus?  Send the air tube to Air Force for repair??  I have looked around but have found nothing particularly helpful.

On the AF site, or just google it, you will find videos on top hat adjustment. Super simple.
I have not had the cylinder apart. But get the air out, then take out the valve, replace o rings.

There two notches in the top of the valve, so you will need a spanner wrench to take the valve out of the bottle.

I'll admit.. when I first got into PCP I was intimidated. Mainly due to the simple fact that in my hand I held a virtual pipe bomb under 3k <> psi of pressure. That turned out to be a healthy respect... best not to get complacent with HPA.
As time went I discovered that I really needed to know what made these things "tick" if I was going to continue using them.
ALL PCP AIRGUNS WILL LEAK sooner or later... mostly from places where o-rings are used.
There are components of the PCP airgun which can be worked on without degassing the gun but until you know exactly what they are you should always degas the gun before turning the first screw. Most all PCP airguns have a monometer (gauge) and probably the easiest way to degas the airgun is to slowly unscrew the gauge until you begin to hear the air escape. Stop there and let all the air escape. Check the gauge or dry fire the gun to confirm it's empty.
The internet is full of videos on most all airguns... Google is your friend... you can set Google to only display videos or images and you won't get a bunch of websites trying to sell you a gun you already have.  You can also include "gateway to airguns" in the search bar along with the name of your gun and it will result in most every mention of your gun on this forum. Folks here are always willing to help. Setting Google to images with result in diagrams and part numbers. That's handy for locating where the o-rings live in your gun.
A spray bottle of soapy water is a great way to find leaks.
O-ring kits are available for many guns. You may need to do some research to source others. Don't forget the silicone grease and apply it to the o-ring you will install/replace.
Bottom line.. learn the inner workings of your guns. Stock up on perishables such as orings. Shipping costs and repair fees to send your gun off to fix a leak can be expensive.

Thank you very much, Avator and Struckat, for the kind responses and direction.  I have been around airguns for quite awhile and have ones of all four powerplants, but my schedule has limited me to mostly just maintaining airguns -- and especially not disassembling springers and PCPs to any extent without better knowledge.  Yes, Google and You-Tube is my friend with all info taken for what it's worth, if it's worth anything.  Now, I can take apart your desktop or laptop computer and repair it properly, or I can dose your drugs properly as a clinical pharmacist, but my brain doesn't work the same way for airguns and I'm not the most mechanically inclined 
Yes, at some point, I just not so good it up and carefully go for the gusto -- but only so much before sending my airguns to my personal airgunsmith!  Nevertheless, I have stocked up on special tools, screwdrivers, wrenches, o-rings, o-ring seal kits for specific models, proper lubricants, appropriate cleaning supplies, etc. so I'm getting there.  I do try to research a lot, but sometimes I run into dead ends like this one with the Edge cylinder, though I've also had some very kind responses from our experienced and fun-loving GTA members and know how much I appreciate that.
Nice to know there are still nice people out there willing to share their wealth of knowledge and experience, as I try to do the same...
