FWB 603  vs Steyr
I am not having much luck finding anything about Steyr SSP’s  on the Internet.  I must not be entering the magic word or phrase, I just cannot find much.  History, models, current market value,  how they compare to the FWB 603,  where to find them.. 0, zilch, nada.   I am left feeling extremely ignorant and incompetent, which will only help enrich my therapist.
So, please save me some cash by passing on  the vital information I am in need of.    🙄
Did anyone else make SSP’s besides FWB, Steyr and  Walther?

I would get the FWB.  More common and you can get parts.  Anschutz also made the 2001 Super Air.  I have had the Anschutz apart and you don’t want one of those.  FWB 600 series are much better made.

FWB is also pretty easy to reseal and everything fits perfectly, no fiddling around with trying to make things fit back together.  If you want to mount a scope, you'll need a kit for a different loading gate but it's a simple install.

By the way,  received the  brand new in the box A250 yesterday,  metal and wood perfect. I disassembled and all perfect,  damper still was full of oil,  piston ring perfect,  only needs the seals replaced, they were pretty rotted.

I have the parts on order now from Custom Gun Parts in GB,  they have parts for the A250,  A380, and the FWB300S. 

The A220 and the 250  are incredibly simple to work on, so surprised  that the Super Air's  are not.  I did not know about those until Brazos mentioned them,   I just saw a blue laminated 2002 Super Air that is mind blowing beautiful.   And a 2001 in walnut, it looked great.  I would love to have those two, if only to hang on the wall.

Still looking for an Anschutz 380 and  FWB 603 🤓

DIANA 100

Best trigger ever.
Clockwork pieces and complicated as heck, but absolutely incredible.
Also the first ever adjustable aperture front sight.

Easy to re-seal and scope.

Plenty of info and spares.

They usually sell for between $600 and $1,200 depending on condition and sights.

Thank you for the advice on the Diana 100.  I am giving the 100 a serious look,  I have researched in depth.  Readily available parts are a plus.  I am presently trying to noodle out how to make all the seals and pistons for an Anschutz 220, so available parts is a plus. (by the way, any A220 owners that want to collaborate please contact me)

I have seen some closeups of the cocking mechanism. I have read that there is a specific sequence of cocking and loading the pellet, and if out of sequence and you force the cocking lever it can strip some teeth.   Is that a concern or just the result that only happens to the careless?

Like all anti-beartrap mechanisms, if you snooze, you loose.

The D100 was criticized because it has a separate bolt.
The unlocking of the pump cocking lever unlocks the bolt, then a FULL swing out (suction fase) of the lever will allow you to start the compression fase.
In a way; a very DIANA way, moving the cocking lever back to its battery position requires care. If you have not completed the "suction" part of the cycle (reason to open the bolt automatically), then the system "blocks" the lever from returning. If you FORCE the return, then yes, you will damage the lever/pins/gears.

In the same way that FORCING the cocking lever back in a D48, 52, 54, or 56, without depressing the return button, damages the linkage.

In other words: customary DIANA shooters would be VERY careful about the proper operation of a cocking lever and its return stroke.
Others that do not bother to ask or read the manual, may have gotten in trouble.

My D100 medaled in the Atlanta Olympics and, with a scope shooting JSB RS's is FT accurate out to 40 yards.

I exchanged the D100 for an FX Independence. And I have never regretted that trade.

I've had an account with them for many years, I order from them with certain regularity,  and they do have quite the stock of D100 parts:

I like to support them, even if they are a bit more expensive than others because they go to great lengths to make some spare parts. If it wasn't for them, a lot of LGU's and LGV's would be using some strange piston because the seals are so different and Walther/UAMREX stopped supporting those great rifles.
They also support a brand not commonly known in the US: Haenel
AND, they sometimes have interesting stocks.

 Appreciate the offer to go in on an order as I am contemplating buying a 100 from a new friend of mine  that  needs resealing. I am not really keen on the looks of the 100, but I am curious, it has really good walnut, and my friend and others could no doubt  use some rebuild kits. He has two 100's keeping one.

What would a kit of all the seals and  share of the  shipping and banking costs be for a Diana 100 approximately ?

When my new friend was showing me his collection, he showed me  his Walther LGM-2.

The LGM-2 now  goes to the top of my want not need list.   I  Like all black,  like no latch on the pump handle, like the wood on the pump handle, like the longer pump handle,(than the previous models) like the looks of the sights,  in fact there is nothing I do not like. it all looks superb.

 I have now looked at the FWB 600 series, (mostly all you can find have the ugly beech stock) Styre, (red plastic button on the pump handle, what?) 

 I WANT A WALTHER LGM-2 IN PRISTINE LIKE NEW CONDITION. (or almost.......... or whatever I can get 🤔)

Any insights on the  Walther LGM 2?

Is there someplace or someone in Europe that ferrets  out High Grade  Match SSP's, (or all match air rifles an pistols  for that matter) for resale to the US market? 

I just went on that German sight, could not seem to get an English translation version.  I am a real  ungeschickt schwerfällig dummkopf when it comes to manipulating software.😵‍💫

If your friend wanted another kit, that would take the total value of the order to € 101.80
I do have some things to add to the tune of €37.80

I have not seen too many LGM's (two versions), the LG 90 was a superior rifle in many ways and they are more numerous. You could expect to get one for around $700-$1,00 in good condition. I have not seen any of them in all black, BTW.
