 Turned out to be fun with a red dot on it.  First one that didn't leak on me.

I bought one used not long ago and it shot just fine. Have too many bb guns at the moment so gave it away. I think it may be hard to find a used one that wasn't over pumped and possible damage as they are strictly single pump.

The 840 is a single stroke pneumatic.
Hard to overpump
But, once the plastic valve body cracks, it becomes a wall hanger.....
