Hi all
I recently came into posession of a scruffy older Marksman 0035 in .177, which seems like a pretty nifty little airgun, but this one needs a piston seal as I can't even get pellets to pass through the barrel. And when I push them out by hand there essentially no resistance to them.
It seems that the rifle uses a screw.in seal similar to the Vortek leather seal replacement seal....
If anyone knows what specific parts I can use and where to get them, I would appreciate it.
I did find that the Vortek seal is 25mm, and the Australian "OEM replacement" is 26mm, so here we go.... ha ha.
I'd be looking for.a piston seal Vortek or OEM, a spring (not crucial) and a new breech seal (not crucial).
Thanks all.
ps - it seems like a well made little rifle. Ni really don't mind spending a little time and money to get.it.rolling again. Nice trigger and good sights too.

Go to Air Rifle Headquarters website, they list the seals by sizes there and you can pick out what you need. He even has some specifically marked for leather seal replacements.
I went to the page and copied the link.

A cool-looking older gun! Never heard of the Krono before.
Chambers has a pretty long list of parts for the Krono, including really affordable replacement barrels for 'em. An OEM piston seal with screw looks to be unfortunately out of stock.
The Gamo 1250's also have screw-fitted synth piston seals. There's a tiny chance the screws would be interchangeable, even when the guns have nothing to do with each other.
Been there, with regards to ambiguous piston seal sizes with Spanish guns. When you have 25mm guns and 26mm guns, and the aftermarket seal vendors say one seal fits both...yeah right.

Well, it seems that this will do the trick:
But, I don't want to wait a month or more for.one if I don't have to, so I'm gonna see who else may have what I need.
Cool little rifle. A touch longer and a little heavier than my HW30 and seems to be well made. No telling how it shoots but it should be about the same power level, is as easy to cock and holds very nicely on my shoulder thanks to the contoured rubber buttpad. Trigger is good as is (obviously not a Rekord) and who knows - maybe there is some adjustability. I'll find out later.
At this point, I'll be looking for a fresh spring too. Nothing fancy, just a standard spring. Not a big deal if I don't, it just seems like the thing to do since it's a hassle to get them in and out.

I have done the full tune on a Beeman 0035. I used the 26mm leather replacement kit. The entire kit is required because the OEM piston head is a weird shape that doesn't fit any German or Chinese seal. The trigger is not tunable, so plan on a harsh 5lb trigger when finished. The trigger block removal has to be done while under 60 lbs of spring pressure through a notch in the custom machined pre-load spacer. Mine ended up shooting a very consistent 7 FPE with Chinese accuracy. I couldn't adapt to the trigger after shooting my HW95 , so I gave it to a neighbor. If I had to do it again and wanted a super cheap 7FPE kids rifle for guests, I would throw it in the nearest dumpster and order a XS12, D240 or Cometa 220. You know I would only buy an HW30/50 for myself.

I'd love to get my hands on a Cometa 220 Eddie! I'll be able to play with a friend's pretty soon I think, can't wait. I may even buy a 300 to go with my 400.
However, this one is simply a target of opportunity. I have a seal coming, a Norica of the right screw-retained design. Hopefully it's the right one - seller did not list OD size. I did say that I would buy one IF it were 26mm, just have to wait to find out.
My trigger isn't 5lbs, more like 3 or 4 and pretty usable. If it's the right seal I'll be into it for $22, and if it doesn't shoot I'll see about choking the barrel. Fun experiment for me, even if I screw something up.

I have one, been waiting to work on it but medical issue got in the way - Thomas (@tjk) graciously sent me springs for it ... mine's got a loose bore too, but before the seal went, and the spring probably too for that matter, I found a pellet it liked. I think it was an H&N FTT 4.53. It showed real promise with those.
My trigger pull is not that bad on it either, but from what I'm reading working on the trigger typically results in an unsafe gun. I'm suspecting mine's got 10's of thousands of shots through it and was well broken in, and your trigger is probably as good as it's going to get also.
There's a thread on mine here from not too long ago with some research details on the springs, I think they are small diameter, 33 coils but the coil counts differ depending on where you find your information. Tom Gaylord (sp?) did a series on it if I'm not mistaken.
I like the sights on mine too - got more in mine $$$ though. eBay, ugh.
Good luck Brian

Thanks Steve.
I'm gonna run some 4.52 FTTs down the bore of mine tonight if I get a little spare time. Curious to see what I find.i doubt that is has a choked barrel, just hoping 4.52s engage the rifling well.

Well, 4.52 FTT's heads DO engage the rifling even if not so deep.
My barrel has a little installation swaging (not much though) and apparently a modest and somewhat gradual choke in the last few inches before the muzzle.
Crown looks fine, so if the rifle is able to obturate the skirts of whatever pellets I'm shooting, well, she should shoot.
A little blurry, but you should be able to see the rifling marks.
