the "renaissance" of the gallery gun.

So i have a very ggod friend of mine (he is also a member here) who, because of pure financial genius, and some serendipity to boot, ended up with a trio of Daisies model 74. Being the greatest friend ever, he made one of the available to me, and i have to say, it has been one of the funnest experiences with BBs i have had as of late. Gun is not a powerhouse (255 fps) but does get literally a gazillion shots per powerlet. Also, being a semi auto, it is the most efficient way to mangle a soda can (short of the forehead crush), and when properly "triggered" (secret is this: pull the trigger slowly until you hear a click which means the BB has fallen into the breach, hold it there, aim and pull through) it has being able to hit a nickel sized spinner 13 times in a row at 25 ft.) it will definitely satisfy you with decent accuracy. Also, is awesome to play double tap games: place cans around the yard and then run around trying to hit them from the farthest point possible or nearby, but only if you can hit it twice before it falls to the ground.
But my new thing was that i found some star targets like the ones at the fairgrounds, you know, the one you gotta shoot out entirely to win the prize... so you load the entire reservoir and then you have until you run out of shots to obliterate the star, also running against the clock. It literally makes a great gallery gun. Now im pondering if i can tap a foster fitting into the side of a powerlet, mount it and run a remote line to it... I'll keep you posted...

Aw, shucks! I'm the genius lillysdad621 mentioned! No one has ever even used the word genius in a sentence that mentioned me before.
