Williams peep sight on a Sheridan

Heya.  My new favorite rifle in the world is my .20 Sheridan.  I hear the Williams peep sight will tighten up groups significantly.  However, I mainly shoot in my basement and I hear that short of 15 yards you can't zero the sight.  That wouldn't really help in my basement.  Anyone have any experience with this?  Is it true?  Would you recommend I still get one?  Thanks in advance.

I heard about some guys who modified their Williams peep sight with a file to achieve more elevation adjustment, I'm not sure exactly how its done. You would have to ask somebody who has made the modification.

I zero'd a Sheridan at 10 meters with the Williams peep.Didn't have any problems with my gun.

Hmm.  I think I'm going to stick with the normal sights given this info.  I'll stick one on if my regular shooting moves outside.  Thanks for the replies!

FWIW.  In my experience with Williams, if you have a problem or question about there sights or fitting them, call them. The people I have dealt with there are very knowledgeable and helpful.
