tuning hatsan dominator

I just acquired a Dominator 200S. Spring version. Are there any tunekits for it? I read on here I cant just simply replace the spring with the Vortex..

I have a dominator in spring and vortex. I prefer the spring one. So I'd say don't bother with trying to convert it to vortex. However, the spring may have a kink in it. Open yours up and see how its doing. You may want to replace the spring. i got my replacement spring from Vortek https://vortekproducts.com/
You'll need to tell him what diameter of wire, coil diameter and number of coils you'll need from him. Iirc the dominators use a wire diameter of 0.128 inch. but I don't remember the rest. Of course, it helps to get a spring guide that tightly fits the spring. I prefer what we call "screw on tight."

Sometimes, the breech plug on dominators need replaced too. You might as well get a piston seal while you're at it. But that's about all. Clean the gun and relube it.

if the cocking lever comes loose during the shot cycle, you can adjust the length. There's a couple grub screws holding the cocking handle. remove those which will allow you to remove the handle. that gives you access to the length adjusting thing. it can be a bit fiddly to adjust the length. I did have to do some grinding to get a stable fit.
