Gamo .22 match

I have had it with the Gamo .22 match.
I have tried to use these in my Crosman 2240 for a while now.
There are some that load easily and some go in hard.
Now I know why I get hit from little lead shards sometimes.
I think I am shaving a ring off the skirt from the tight ones.
Today I was shooting O.K. with the Gamos then I switched to a Beeman and my score improved.

I thought they were good but I think I need better.

Gamo pellets are trash

I didn't know that.
I just dropped some $$$ @ Pyramyd for some Beeman and RWS.
That should eliminate a variable.

I get pretty good results with the Gamo .177 Match but the .22 Match never were any good. I tried them on and off a few times and have given up on them.

I think the Gamo Match are friendlier with less powerful airguns, since their skirts are pretty soft.  With the strong airguns...the skirts could be bend or deformed with the sudden blast of strong air.  A few of my airguns like the .177 Gamo Match.....have never used a .22 though.

I agree, my Crosman 1400 will shoot tight groups with Gamo .22 match at four pumps. If I pump it ten times, the group looks like a shotgun pattern. The 1400 will group about an inch at 25 yards with H&N match at ten pumps.
