lefteyeshot,
Yes i very much like the BM2070 and BBC1022. Thankyou for the headsup. I have looked up the 1048 now that you mention it, only problem is i can only find available ones on yabE><Ebay. I do not use the bayE,. As it is the 1048 looks compact, nice wood and steel. What kind of FPS/FPE Numbers are you getting? The B1048 Looks very fun.
Excellentwork lefteyeshot.

The 1048 does a little better than 500fps with Miesters. I also have the full size version. Sportsman 1000 Series with wood, satin silver metal, ported shroud, RS2 trigger.
I like the wood on silver look. Had an old wood RS2 stock and refinished it light oak color and bought a Silver what ever dual cal. in plastic with the silver
metal. Put it in the wood and mounted pistol scopes on the barrels so i don't have to re-zero when I switch barrels. Fun stuff.

Beeman 1022 # 122-269 .22
51°F
Today I took the .22 barrel I had removed a week ago and removed a layer of tape as a cut guide. The barrels originally are at 18", using a hacksaw and a new 32 TPI blade I first made a cut all around the barrel then cut and turn until the blade has cut through. The barrel is now at 15,1/8" or 382mm. OAL is now at 39,13/16" or 1011mm. It feels alot handier than before even if only 2, 7/8" or 73mm has been removed.
On the Beeman 2070 and other 1022 I have removed the trigger return spring, cut shorter and reinstalled. The first time I did this I did not remove enough of the coils to have an effect. After making the return spring shorter the trigger pull has been reduced to be a lot easier to get a shot off when I want.
Before making changes I had a Svitvu 3-9x32mm HMD on low medium rings. It now has a Dove-Picrail, low 21mm rings and the included Beeman 4x32mm. Out in the field I got it to hit good at 30 yards.
Previous 5 shot test showed 629FPS with CPP 14.3gr with the original 18" barrel.
