Mrod 25 cal

This things is quiet. It has a little crack, but whatever. So ridiculously quiet. I'm lovin it so far.
Only one thing, how do you get the multishot cartridge to work. I filled it and put it back in place, but when I snap it behind the breech, I can't move the cocking arm forward. It keeps hitting a piece of plastic in there.
I don't see anything in the instructions about this. Bleh.
Thanks for any help!

Before you put the first pellet in it you must rotate the clear plastic top piece (clockwise) in the direction of the arrow. Rotate it ALL the way around. Insert the first pellet into the hole that you can see all the way through. Hold 1 finger over that hole so the pellet dont fall out. Then rotate it backwards loading a pellet each time you reveal a hole. When it's fully loaded, it should work.

Awesome thanks!
I fill to 2800 and after 8 shots I am under 2000. Is that normal?

I dont have a 25 cal but I hear it uses quite a bit more air than a 22 cal. I dont know what would be considered normal.

Fill to 3200 and you'll get a better shot count.
But also, no, that isn't very normal unless you've opened up the velocity metering screw and other adjustments all the way. Then maybe it might account for the extreme drop in pressure through eight shots.

I get 16 good shots on a 3000 PSI fill
are you handpumping?
The 25 is not a real fun one to handpump.

.25's are factory tuned for a 3K psi fill to meet mfg specs.

oh ok. I read and heard from some not to fill to 3K because shots will be off.
I am filling from a 4500 SCBA. I guess I need to get a chrony, but my wife will kill me if I spend any more money.
I haven't changed anything from the factory settings.

Curious as to what settings other .25 owners are using.

when your tank is down to 3000 PSI and you have a chrony tether to the big tank and adjust it...till then use a 3000 PSI fill

Hammer Stroke was full out CCW
Hammer Spring was in 3.5 turns CW.
Transfer port was out 3 turns from full in.
This was my factory settings, yours may have been setup from factory different.
