High speed .177 pellets...?

Looking for recommendations of .177 domed pellets that tend to be stable/accurate above 900 fps.  I'd like to try them in a Diana 54 and a Walther Parrus.  The Parrus is especially "hot", running a little over 1100 fps with a Crosman 7.9 last time I checked.

I have some Crosman 10.5s and I'll try some Baracudas for sure.  Beyond that, I'm looking for input.  I don't want to buy a tin of everything...

Not based on experience but I have read that diablo pellets become unstable as they exceed the speed of sound.  A heavier pellet will tend to travel a bit slower and may solve your problem.

What Thomas said. I don’t think there are any diablo pellets that are stable at that speed. JSB 10.34 work beautifully in my full power Diana 56 T/H. Keeps the speeds around 880 FPS and they’re insanely accurate. Only Diana I own that likes JSB. Might be worth a try in your 54. Can’t help with the Walther.

RWS supermags don't mind some speed. I popped a chipper at 45 yards with one running 925 fps. Here's a 25 yard group from my Stormrider, I think.

I looked back through my posts, and that group was shot with my Stoeger Bullshark and not the Stormrider. They 45 yard chipper shot was with the Stormrider though.

At what distance are you shooting and what's your limit for acceptabke grouo size?

My go to pellets for high powered 177 springers are either H&N Baracuda Hunter 10.5gr, Crosman 10.5's or when all else fails Crosman Piranhas. If you have a tighter bore, JSB/AA 10.3gr pellets may work very well. I'd like to try the H&N copper coated Baracudas at some point for one of my Turkish magnums that leads up the bore every forty to fifty shots.

 Hatsan 135 .177 sends 10.5 gr pellets 1040 fps, and 13 .4 gr JSB 880 fps, and shoots them the most accurately.

Most of my dianas prefer h&n field target trophies in the 4.50 head size. They tend to produce more energy than the heavier baraccudas. Some here have suggested thisis do to the weight of the top hat.

My .177 Diana 54 shoots as accurately with mid weight domes as it does with 10.5ish grain pellets, and it loses a bunch of power with the heavies.
