It looks like an ordinary quick-connect; try rotating the hose/fittings you're trying to remove?...

Did that and it didnt disconnect….Ive had it disconnected before ,so pretty sure its correct size…thanks..

I've never had one get stuck together; best I can suggest is a hammer?.... (and if that don't work, a bigger one  )

The male end looks like it's cocked to one side and not fully inserted (the locking collar on the female end should be forward).

I had it disconnected for the picture…

        Gauges showed zero ,tanked was emptied…via bleed valve…just. For the heck…ran.     Tank up to about 10 lbs.. then emptied. Popped right off….…apparently operator error as usually is the case..

When I was a field service rep for teletype corp we called it OHS. Operater head space 😁😁

The fastener can get catchy when dry so with nothing plugged into it I pull the release back and spray inside with a little pb blaster then pull the release back several times until freed up easily releasing.
