Rabbits still drop with accurate shot at 11.2 and I only limit my distance at 50 yards.

Recently purchased second hand Prosport in .177 previous guy had used it for ft shooting
But felt a bit buzzy so decided a modification was required as a few new parts would help improve action, I decided to short stroke it by adding Nylatron extension with viton o’ring
And after 2 or 3 hours on the lathe made up what I needed.
Just got finished and Prosport is much better no spring twang as with the old loose spring guide
Turned a nice tight one up in Nylatron as are the piston extension and top hat, a slight radius was required on
Seal undercut and lead in angle to allow fitting of the extension also needed 4 slots to allow expanding and a little dab of silicone to fit and with a good tap with
My tapometer, so this is a nice tight fit, 6 slots would have made easier fitting, no screws necessary and can’t fall off.
A bit stringy to turn but pleased with results and new seals now a lot cheaper and easy to change.
New breech o’rings aswell. The spring isn’t standard so would like to get one as this one seems a bit strong but
Will see how it goes 31coils. Hello I will get some photos on.
Shimmed side play in trigger now much better
Piston extension 17.5mm all up $14NZ
Copied what a UK guy did but used existing undercut and didn’t need to use securing screws.
A guy in UK mr Broardsman who did an extension on his TX200HC mk3 gave me the idea
But he used 3 m2 screws to attach the extension but I just used the existing undercut to
Get mine to fit. The guys site is on line nbroardsman Tx200hc lots of good info.

I went with the TbT guide kit, Vortek Seal, 90duro nitrile breech seals and stock spring. Makes 13 ft lbs, no vibration/buzz and reticle stays on target. TX200
