Dreamline bottle connector w/power plenum is crooked when tightened

When I tighten the bottle connector until it's hand tight, the bottle connector is a few degrees crooked.  But if I leave it level, it's a touch loose.  Is this a concern?

Just level it to where everything is center When you air up it’ll be rock solid. Shouldn’t leak it’s the o ring that seals it not the tightness

That explains why I didn't notice it until I had the gun completely apart with no air in it.  The valve seat cracked and let all the air out of the gun.  Thanks!

You could try to fabricate a thin washer for perfect mechanical alignment but it would be LESS THAN 0.001" thick ( I'm estimating 0.0003"-0.0005"). While I have cut shim and rupture discs from 0.001"-0.004" stainless steel shim stock, I've never tried to cut washers from 0.0003" steel shim stock. Pretty certain none of my normal tools would be able to cut a usable washer from it. I'd probably have to create some crude EDM electrodes to "burn" that really thin shim washer and would likely need 3 - 5 tries before getting it just right.

IMO that would be more much effort than it is worth.

You can cut something that thin with shears. I've got some wieses that would be like a knife through butta.

  Nope, forget trying to use scissors or burning. Just make a simple punch. Use the unhardened back end of a twist drill for material (drill Rod, a easy to work with oil hardening steel. You don't need a lot of length. the inside hole can be punched with a second punch that would fit nicely inside and guided by it the first. You would leave the washer, spacer inside first punch to hold it while the second punch would pop the ID hole in perfectly concentric. a half to three ten thousandths of an inch will punch nice and cleanly without much effort at all. Use a thick magazine or phone book under the workpiece and punch to support the thin metal and protect the cutting edge of the 2 punches.
