When I tighten the bottle connector until it's hand tight, the bottle connector is a few degrees crooked. But if I leave it level, it's a touch loose. Is this a concern?

Shouldn’t leak it’s the o ring that seals it not the tightness

While I have cut shim and rupture discs from 0.001"-0.004" stainless steel shim stock, I've never tried to cut washers from 0.0003" steel shim stock. Pretty certain none of my normal tools would be able to cut a usable washer from it. I'd probably have to create some crude EDM electrodes to "burn" that really thin shim washer and would likely need 3 - 5 tries before getting it just right.IMO that would be more much effort than it is worth.
