Prod tube thread size

I have a 3/4 16 tap, just fits in the tube, barely touching. So I am thinking 7/8 14?

I believe the threads are 13/16x28 according to Bob.

Thanks for the reference, I will double check with my thread gauge before I buy a tap.

The threads in a new tube need to be chased or the fill assy thread will gaul.
