Gen 5 ATN X-Sight 5-25X Scope Review

Figured out the ATN X Sight HD 3-12x scope today. Spent the morning running around our little town rounding up rechargeable batteries, 6' micro usb cable and a 5000mAh power bank. Then I searched 30 minutes for a stock pouch to put the power bank in. I also ordered a set of CR123 rechargeable batteries and a charger for the IR850 because I couldn't find anything local for that.
I have the scope on my .25 Avenger and I think it's the perfect match because...
The Avenger is a light weight gun and the added 2.5# of the scope leaves it still quite manageable.
The Avenger is probably my most accurate guns and loves my cast pellets.
The Avenger has picatinny rails for scope, bipod, flashlight and relocation of the IR850 so it's not hanging off the side of the scope.
The Avenger get 6 full mags of regulated 40fpe shots per fill which is plenty to provide awesome shooting video sessions.

Now you have to get a You Tube account so you can upload videos to share!  Looking forward to seeing some exploding paint balls and flying beer cans!   

Already got an account from posting our ATV adventures so yeah, vids are coming.   

BTW... sorry to jump in your thread. I started another one with some questions I hope someone can help me with.

That sounds like a good match Bill, Have you tried N/V W/O the illuminator ? it does a fairly decent job with moonlight or lowlight conditions also.

Yeah, I stepped outside last night and was checking out N/V but I was way low on battery power and didn't get to play much. Now I'm all set on power I can play some more tonight.

 I am just going off vague memory, but there might be an option in the settings menu to initiate a firmware update.

If there is, I didn't see it and I pretty much been all over the settings. Unless it's some secret combination of button pushing. I also tried putting the firmware on a clean sd card so the scope wouldn't read and existing firmware or .bin file.
