Chief ll Synthetic ... two things I need help with.

Beeman Chief Synthetic trying to find a second barrel band. Any help would be much appreciated. I removed the factory LDC and need to find a new one that fits beyond the threaded end of the barrel, so that it fits snug on the barrel and is nice and quiet. Thanks in advance for any help.

I saw a barrel band on ebay.  I also saw an adapter on ebay that would let you put on a standard 1/2 UNF moderator.  Buck rail also has a moderator that may work without the adapter but they list it for a different Beeman model.  It is shown for either a 14mm or 15mm barrel.  I have a moderator from Buck Rail and it worked well - at least until I dropped the gun and broke it.

The buck rail won't work on the Chief even though you can get that unit for a 15mm barrel it's not long enough to get past the threads and secure on the smooth part of the barrel. I actually tried it and had to send it back. The threads on the barrel are not 1/2 X 20 as the nuts from the Chief threaded end will not fit my adaptors. I did however get one of my threaded LDC in carbon fiber to screw on pretty good for some reason.

This should work. I've got one of his on my .25 Bandit and it does a good job.

He's the only vendor doing m12x10 that I know of. The one I have works well though.

First shots across the Chronograph for the Chief. Started out at 990 with 8.44 jsb. I turned down the hammer spring tension until I got five shots that averaged 835. Most likely turn in down a little more at some point, want the most shots per fill for target shooting. Will do more detailed shot string with starting pressure and that sort of thing a bit later.
