I been shooting & testing this slug for a while now. They are kinda pricey! So my last order I bought 600.I hate to pay that much! but my Condor (24" barrel) loves them & gets great accuracy + 97 flbs of energy.Been looking for an alternative slug that shot the same (or very close) but with a little cheaper price tag.Well this morning I found it! and best of all, I already had a good stock of them put away. This rifle loves the 55.5gr NSA but fouls the choke quickly @.250 Dia. So, I ran them thru a .249 sizer out of just curiosity & yea, they to are getting 97 flbs & ringing my spinner every time at 53 yds. The velocity has of course dropped a little! but I can live with that. I have used the 55gr slug thru my SS for squirrel & the smack factor is impressive! probably a bit much for the little critter now! but I have other things in mind for it anyhow. Sorry no pics! I'm kinda behind the times!! Don't even have a cell! I have to borrow my sons to take pics. Yea I'm old School.. and old to!BTW, I have used the TT heavy spring + max pressure to increase velocity, but even though TT does very good work! I have found it unessential for only 6-7 flbs more energy than my factory stock rifle. Just thought I'd share some info & maybe help someone out.
