Would shooting the same plinking targets suddenly NOT be plinking if it was done with another rifle? Is it what you are doing, or what you are doing it with?Do think that there are rifles that don’t have the accuracy to be taken seriously at anything other than casual/larger target/short range. Are times I’ll “shoot down” a match rifle killing rusty old bottle caps.
Since I mentioned the only big bore rifle in co2...why not in a pistol.<a target='_blank' href='https://poetandpoem.com/Edward-Estlin-Cummings/next-to-of-course-god-america-i'>in every language even deafanddumb[/url]Old skoolCrooked barn .375 w/ rb grips.
Likely I would have become a fan of the cheap 1077’s. First two attempts were failures and went back...but I did get 5 weeks out of th4e 2nd one. Not wishing bad luck...but keep the box and packing handly in case you need to use that 60 day money-back guarantee. -------------Became fascinated by moderate power in the last few years…..regardless of the power plant (CO2/PCP/etc).“Match” rifles are really set up more along the lines of 4.6-6 foot pounds. Other than the few real 10 meter shooters, first thoughts for most U.S. owners is “how to speed them up”.12 foot pound rifles can be had (most built for the non FAC UK market). Actually, because of the penalties for going accidentally over, think of them as 11.2-11.5 foot pounds. That power limit was placed upon them, but seems to do well on 35-40 yard pest. For me, use the term “back yard rifle” as I’ve no legal requirement for 12ish foot pounds, but have the same kind of max range. We just don’t get many choices in the U.S. MOST of the 12 foot pound UK market rifles never get sold here in that configuration (and not in inexpensive versions). No air gun foot pound police here...don’t care if the rifle ends up at a bit over or under goal.Am convinced that with enough work/mods, could make nearly any .177 to .22 PCP shoot well down around 12 foot pounds. It’s a whole lot easier when a PCP comes with external adjustments AND starts out moderately slow.-----------Due to my warm climate, found co2 (at least in the above pictured) could get there easily enough AND be accurate. At least for 10 months out of the year, don’t really have to worry much about a well set up co2 showing a rapid velocity rise or fall.
