Leshiy Classic Question

Hey guys L1 question. I've noticed when I first installed a huma I was getting 30fps  faster than a year later (today) haven't touched a thing just shot it after installing huma. Is that the gun just settling in after a couple hundred shots? It's consistent and I’ve only shot a tin through it total. I’ve had the gun since new. It’s a .25 with a 250mm barrel originally shooting at 710 consistently now it’s at 680 but still consistently. I feel like it’s settled in at it’s happy spot. It’s quiet and accurate.

Per Edgun West- totally normal, it’s just the reg breaking in and settling. I like it it’s quiet and accurate. It’s shooting 25 grain JSBs at 680 now at 26 foot pounds from the 250 barrel and 740 out of the 350
Barrel. For a tiny rifle that’s great. I like
The 250 version it’s cute:) great for what I do at max 30 yards

Yeah for sure. I actually put the 350 back on.

I’ve got a 250 on the classic and 350 on the l2. Although the 2 looks better with a 250 as well, imo.

I've been intermittent with my attention to the forums, but my experience with the Huma in my Leshiy (Classic) is the same.  It settled in quick- less than a hundred shots.  I'm torn between leaving it .30, going back to .25, or buying a 350mm non-choked barrel in .177 and tuning for NSAs.  It remains far and away the most versatile airgun in my opinion.  Tuning is easy, minimal parts, and just incredibly reliable.

Added note: I forgot I swapped it back to .22, but now I want to get both the .177 non-choked and a .20 choked (350 former, 250 latter).

Peter do you notice small indentations on the breech area of your Leshiy Classic developing over time ? I thought they were lead squished between air tube and breech but they were indentations kind of annoying but they keep happening slowly

Nothing obvious, but thanks for sharing the info.  I've seen swarf and shavings there- usually just wipe them away with a finger.  I will break out a magnifying glass later today and give a magnified-eye's worth of a look-over on the breech (both sides) and see if anything shows up.

Thanks Peter I texted Brian at Edgun West he said that’s pretty common on those because you have two metal to metal surfaces coming together and apart constantly. It’s annoying to me but that’s the flaw of the design to me but hey nothing is perfect. It seals it shoots well. It’s just something to learn to live with.
